City of Sundsvall
The Municipality of Sundsvall announced a competition to redesign the city’s official logo, and to my great delight, my submission was selected as the winner by a multi-member jury. The dragon has been a symbol of the city for centuries, and this was a key element to consider in the design process. I designed the letter "S", representing the city's initial, in the form of a stylized dragon. The competition guidelines also required the design to be in black and white only, and to include four versions: in Swedish, English, Finnish, and South Sámi.
